I am so excited to be a part of something that has been a part of me since the 1980’s. The Spenser Somers Foundation www.spensersomers.org is a group based on the Life of a dear friend of mine, and many, from my High School Years. Spenser Passed away at the age of 19, just 1 year out of High School. Spenser view on Life and words, and art are so amazing and so true, that he is still celebrated by all who knew him and more, today and forever. The foundation raises funds for The Ronald McDonald Foundation for Kids, and helps to better their facilities for future Children and their families. Please read all about it at www.spensersomers.org. To help in this ongoing crusade we and the Spenser Foundation Folks came up with a great idea of using our recycled bicycle chain links as Wine Glass Charms. These are available for sale as well as bracelets too. So Link up with Spenser and show someone you are connected

    What people are saying...

    • ….sometimes you just need a little help from your friends, and other times you make new friends during a very difficult time.  This is what happened to our family when our son, Brett Banasiewicz, suffered a traumatic brain injury on his BMX bike on August 23, 2011.  Dustin Grice is one of Brett’s BMX buddies that reached out to us about the Link Foundation.  Jeff Troldahl, founder of the Link Foundation, and Dustin Grice designed a “Maddog” bracelet with Brett’s signature colors pink and green.  The Link Foundation sold many bracelets via the internet and also allowed us to sell the bracelets at Brett’s BMX Skate Park.  The proceeds went to Brett’s mounting medical bills.  Brett was able to obtain the best care in the United States that also included hyperbarics.  Brett had to relocate to Texas because the state of Indiana is not licensed to administer hyperbarics  for TBI’s..
