Our Newest! Bestest friend in the Midwest Nick Ziegler, founder of the Midwest BMX Donation Program (Look ’em up on Facebook TODAY!) has created the Racer’s Link. – The 01 Link is in tribute to Race Car Driver Ron Marks, Jr. On July 7th, 2012, Ron’s life was tragically taken. Ron was a wonderful family man, and a fan favorite— racing his car all over the Midwest. The 01 Link is to honor Ron and support his family who now must face the future without him. It is a reminder that we are all connected, in life and death. Proceeds from the 01 Link will Benefit the Marks Family, and the Link Foundation Charity. The following is a message from Mark’s five year old son, Racer: We lost the man of our family in a tragic accident. He was a local race car driver that had many fans. He was a best friend to many and a close relative to others. But most if all he was A DADDY. He is missed EVERY DAY, EVERY MINUTE, EVERY SECOND by those that loved him most. He will never, ever be forgotten. This link is a symbol that he will live on in our hearts forever. MARK’S RACING 01 FOREVER!!!!!!! – LOVE RACER! the-racers-link

    What people are saying...

    • ….sometimes you just need a little help from your friends, and other times you make new friends during a very difficult time.  This is what happened to our family when our son, Brett Banasiewicz, suffered a traumatic brain injury on his BMX bike on August 23, 2011.  Dustin Grice is one of Brett’s BMX buddies that reached out to us about the Link Foundation.  Jeff Troldahl, founder of the Link Foundation, and Dustin Grice designed a “Maddog” bracelet with Brett’s signature colors pink and green.  The Link Foundation sold many bracelets via the internet and also allowed us to sell the bracelets at Brett’s BMX Skate Park.  The proceeds went to Brett’s mounting medical bills.  Brett was able to obtain the best care in the United States that also included hyperbarics.  Brett had to relocate to Texas because the state of Indiana is not licensed to administer hyperbarics  for TBI’s..
