After losing our mother in 2003 to breast cancer, my father decided to look for companionship in a new dog. Having everlasting love for my mother, a dog was the only “person” that my father was able to open his heart to.
Shadow is the name of the dog my father adopted through Last Hope Inc.. It was love at first sight, and Shadow did more for my father and our family than we could have ever asked. When my father passed away suddenly in 2011, Shadow was waiting right by his side until the end, and was there to lead me to him when I arrived. Shadow is with me today and every time I look at her I can feel my dad smile. This Link is a Thank You to Last Hope Inc. and especially Shadow.
