Happy Holidaze and Happy New Year to everyone! The Link Foundation Inc. as of the new year…. will now be called The Link Support Inc.. This is all due in part to even bigger and more exciting news. We have been officially approved as a 501c3 charity! We will be using all the benefits of this status to do bigger and better things for all the charities involved. We have been in filing for the 501c3 since February 2012 and it “twas the night of Christmas Eve,” when I returned home and actually pulled the letter from the mailbox. I like to think my parents had something to do with the fact it showed up on Christmas Eve. With this status, we will be moving onward and upward and first off improving our Links by 110%. We have found a new company here in the USA called BCM or Ball Chain Mfg., and with their help, are replacing the current “fading and chipping” anodized ball chain, with a color-lasting powder coated one. Then we will be clear coating the links with an almost bullet proof clear coat that will protect the hand painted mark on each link. As we have since we started, we will continue to replace any returned link that anyone is unhappy with for any reason. It’s the message that counts, not the “gift” of the link, that’s the symbol to help remind us.
