The Link Foundation is very proud to introduce its latest project, the Legacy Link.  We couldn’t be happier to be working with Marilou Chanrasmi and Leech Lake Legacy.  We had the great fortune of having a booth next to the Leech Lake Legacy crew this year at the AHS Walk for Animals and could not pass up the opportunity to work with these great people.  With all the fantastic people we have been able to meet since the inception of the Link Foundation, Marilou and her dog Ahnung have made the biggest impact.  The amount of love and companionship this pet and owner share is not only unmistakable upon hearing their story, but is also so moving.  Their story and efforts generate so much hope and love that we are thrilled to have the chance to work with them.  Please read Marilou and Ahnung’s story and we promise, you will be touched and enlightened.  Also, be sure to Link Up yourself and your pets to remind all those around you that we are all connected.  Thank you Marilou and Ahnung! And Check out Marilou’s blog at : https://mariloureflects.blogspot.com/2013/04/ahnungs-2nd-celebration-of-life-party.html and https://mariloureflects.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-legacy-link-honoring-sacredness.html for her news on the Legacy Link Launch!

    What people are saying...

    • ….sometimes you just need a little help from your friends, and other times you make new friends during a very difficult time.  This is what happened to our family when our son, Brett Banasiewicz, suffered a traumatic brain injury on his BMX bike on August 23, 2011.  Dustin Grice is one of Brett’s BMX buddies that reached out to us about the Link Foundation.  Jeff Troldahl, founder of the Link Foundation, and Dustin Grice designed a “Maddog” bracelet with Brett’s signature colors pink and green.  The Link Foundation sold many bracelets via the internet and also allowed us to sell the bracelets at Brett’s BMX Skate Park.  The proceeds went to Brett’s mounting medical bills.  Brett was able to obtain the best care in the United States that also included hyperbarics.  Brett had to relocate to Texas because the state of Indiana is not licensed to administer hyperbarics  for TBI’s..
