An estimated 2,500,000 people around the world suffer from MS. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50. Women are more than three times as likely to develop MS than men. Among young adults, MS is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Our Friend Michael Weiss has adopted the lessons he learned through his MS diagnosis into all aspects of his life, and he hopes to provide motivation for others by being an example in action. “Regardless of the situation we’re faced with, we are in control of our thoughts and actions towards the outcome!” Michael has a passion for helping others learn how to best manage their MS through proactive methods. “My goal,” says Michael “is to help others realize that as patients, we owe it to ourselves to own our MS, be proactive, and do something every single day to put ourselves in a position to be successful!” Link up and help support and promote awareness for Multiple Sclerosis.
